Personal Safety and Awareness for Kids


This course assists kids and young adults (10 to 17 years) in developing a 21st-Century safety and security mindset for the personal difficulties and hazards they may face in the urban environment.

Safety and security topics of discussion presented will include: traveling to and from school, to the mall, and other areas of leisure activity.

Bicycle and skateboard safety and responsible behaviors will be discussed, along with discussions to encourage limiting the level of distractions from smartphones and other electronic devices. Each participant will be introduced to and encouraged to develop his or her GDP (“Good Deeds Potential”) at home, in school, and within his or her community. Class Length: 2 Hours

Course is available at Member and Non-Member group pricing for 20 or more attendees and can be presented at your location or scheduled at the Delaware Safety Council Training Center.
